// Built In-House

I moved this campaign presentation off corporate interfaces to reclaim structural control over my data and design layout. While leveraging secure external processors to keep database overhead at zero, this frontend is hardcoded and served from my independent lab environment. If you want the story behind this architecture, please go to the About CFE page.

⚙️ Genesis Interface Setting: Vindictive / Trifling

The Zero-Sum Game 🎮

Traditional fundraising is a broken design loop. Corporate platforms force independent creators into a toxic binary: you must either peddle a polished product or beg from a ditch. If you operate outside a corporate box with an unpredictable freelance income, the algorithm doesn’t know how to categorize you. You end up spending more time defending your life choices to strangers than producing the actual work your core community supports you for.

I didn’t build this engine to become a full-time fundraiser. I built it to automate the administrative noise so I can clear my debt, get back to the field, and focus on codebase output.

Systemic Sabotage: 2020 vs. 2026 ⚡

Operating independently means surviving without a corporate safety net, making you a target for both physical and digital disruption:

2020 (The Physical Hit): A victim of police brutality that resulted in the complete destruction of my e-bike—my primary mode of field transport and livelihood.

2026 (The Algorithmic Hit): A logic fault in Uber's automated verification system flagged my street-legal e-bike as an unverified motor vehicle, instantly deactivating a 10-year delivery profile.

A single algorithmic glitch stripped away my baseline operational income stream overnight. Explaining the labyrinth of corporate automated walls takes time and context—stories that I want to tell, but stories that require funding to investigate and produce properly.

Hitting the Platform Wall 🧱

To survive the immediate fallout of the 2026 deactivation, I initially tried GoFundMe. It was a dead end. I found myself trapped behind a sterile interface, blocked from communicating directly with my supporters, and forced to twist my situation into a neat, sanitized sob story just to fit their template. Because my reality isn't wrapped up in a pretty bow, the fundraiser felt awkward, performative, and entirely disconnected from a professional media operation.

So, I bypassed the generic template and hand-built a dedicated custom presentation layer directly on top of open processing webhooks: the Creative Fund Engine.

The Handshake 🤝

By partnering with Ko-fi to handle the baseline transactional heavy lifting, I avoid reinventing the security wheel and keep the focus where it belongs: on raw content and decentralized software.

This page isn't running on a faceless network—it is hardcoded directly into my digital home at nukirk.com. My entire professional reputation, my face, and my creative livelihood are tied to this domain. I can’t hide behind an anonymous platform profile or distort the numbers. This page is my bond. It will stand transparently as a live, public record until every single reward on this roadmap is delivered.

⚙️ Fundraising Interface Setting: Rewarding

Fundraising Goals

Help me fundraise for these problems in a timely fashion and I'll give the community a reward depending on when it happens.

Level 1: Ground Zero (Stabilization) ($0)

Goal: Keeps the lights on. This clears past-due utility bills and immediate baseline living costs so I can stop looking over my shoulder and focus entirely on code production.

Released Reward: Vote on the Next NYC Updates
I'm letting backers vote on topics for five upcoming NYC-focused stories via Ko-Fi polls. Heavy-lift projects already deep in production—specifically the Zohran Mamdani series and active software work—won't be on the ballot.

Level 2: The Runway (Operational Continuity) ($0)

Goal: Secures the lab. This covers rent overhead, eliminating the immediate threat of displacement so I can get back to uninterrupted, daily deep-work coding cycles.

Released Reward: The “Shop Stripper” Utility
A free, open-source web tool built to strip predatory tracking code from retail links to bypass dynamic corporate pricing.

Level 3: Debt Decoupling (Livelihood Reclamation) ($0)

Goal: Kills the loan. Clears the outstanding Credit Union Loan that was originally forced onto my back by high-volume courier work. Getting rid of this permanently severs my dependency on delivery platforms.

Released Reward: The "Long Overdue Departure" Code Release
Public open-source release of an automated alert broadcast system free from corporate oversight.

Level 4: Infrastructure Reconciliation ($0)

Goal: Repairs the setup. Reconciles accumulated business overhead, pays off backlogged software licenses, and updates lab server hardware to restore my workspace to full health.

Released Reward: Access to The Blueprint
A live, dynamic resource map of modular operational tools, workflows, and infrastructure strategies.

Level 5: The Accelerated Launch ($0 Overall Target)

Goal: Ships the code. Acts as a development commission to fund the final sprint: hardening the backend, removing my personal hardcoded configurations, and pushing this framework out to the public.

Released Reward: Standalone Ko-Fi Engine Release
Ships the clean, open-source repository for this exact configuration—entire strain removed—along with a personal 5-year maintenance contract completely free.

⏱️ Runway Horizon Status: Dynamic Runway

Timeline & Early Execution Guarantee

This campaign runs for a maximum of 45 days. However, support velocity dictates the timeline. If we clear the final Level 5 target early, I reserve the right to instantly freeze checkout terminals and convert this entire page into a live software delivery log. No unnecessary funding loops, no artificial extension—we hit the ceiling, we stop collecting, and I ship.

My name, work, and reputation are permanently tied to this domain. Walking away from my own platform makes zero practical sense. Consider this layout a hardcoded public receipt until every promise on the roadmap is delivered.

🛡️ Risks & Accountability Audit Pass: Confirmed

Risks & Accountability

Let’s talk about risk. Unlike traditional crowdfunding projects that promise a conceptual design and disappear, this engine is the refined result of a multi-stage development loop. It started as a basic WordPress code snippet, expanded into a full plugin, got completely stripped down to an independent standalone framework, and was ultimately lean-engineered into the zero-database Ko-Fi prototype running this page. There is no manufacturing gamble; the core routing mechanics are battle-tested. The funding isn't for basic R&D—it’s explicitly to buy the runway to clean out my local hardcoded configurations, harden the codebase, and package this stable Standalone Ko-Fi version so the public can deploy it safely.
